CoLaBoot - system loader, which compose rootfs by multiple layers - squashfs images, mounted as overlays, and utilities for building Docker images and convert them into squashfs layers. This tool used for creating stateless host-loaded solutions - thin clients, rescue, live, solution images, embedded OS images (bootbanks).
